Every surface is alive, every detail speaks of its origin: the block quarried on site, the artisan's gesture, the continuity between landscape and architecture. It is not a restoration, it is a restitution: the house returns to its profound nature through materials that belong to this place . The result is a physical, warm, and rooted aesthetic.

Interior details

Inside, the spaces are balanced and authentic, designed with comfort and restraint in mind. The main villa 's entrance, with custom-built wardrobes, leads to the living area with a fireplace, divided into two connected spaces bathed in natural light. A brick staircase leads to the upper level, with two bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, and a private study (or bedroom) overlooking the greenery. The eat-in kitchen, adjacent to the dining area, is a celebration of materials, with a single countertop crafted like the finest marble by a local craftsman. The master suite occupies the lower, more intimate level and comprises a bedroom with direct access to the garden, a large walk-in closet, and a bathroom with Old English fixtures and a glass shower. Original elements—the natural rock and a stone manger—resurface in this part of the house, preserved as a physical reminder of the rural construction.

Next to the villa, a stone space has been transformed into a convivial summer kitchen, embedded in the masonry and connected to a panoramic dining room with a large floor-to-ceiling window. From here, you access the furnished terrace and barbecue area : one of the most lived-in spaces in the house, where the interior opens naturally to the landscape.

To complete the ensemble, the guest annex , independent but in continuity with the house, offers a studio apartment for discreet hospitality without isolation.

We were won over by the choice to work with local stone: not a material selected from a catalog, but quarried, sculpted, and restored to the house with the mastery of those who understand Tuscan tradition and bring it into the present. It's rare to find a project where floors, thresholds, steps, and even the kitchen countertop are sourced from the same earth on which the home stands.
